This is in no way related to the suggestion & feedback category, but to answer your question

Cpanel is a system that allows webmasters to edit their mysql, webmail, domains, information,..etc it can be accessed on the hostings server or on your site e.g. www.yoursite.com/cpanel , this system is usually used on paid hosting sites.

layered panel i think layered panel is a custom panel created by the hosting company, hosted on the hosting site, it is usually for free hostings but lots of paid hostings also have layered panels.

Although Cpanel is usually preferred because it is a secure, advanced, yet easy to use system.

Screen shot of a Cpanel can be viewed here (Watch out there are a lot of versions for Cpanel)

    Just for future reference,

You get the "You have no premission" message because you were trying to post in the hosting category in the Buy, Sell, or Trade section, Which also is the wrong category because you aren't selling, buying or trading anything, i would think the most relevant category would be this one.

Both are the web hosting control panels but cPanel is widely used and user friendly. Layered panel generally used for free web hosting service I believe.

cPanel is typically used on both free and paid services, and you'll normally find it has more features and is less locked down settings wise.

Layeredpanel is used by free web hosts, disables heaps of features and somehow lets you fit heaps more sites on the one server.

    Layedpanel is insecure.

    Cpanel is insecure, but safer.
