What's the difference between a podcast and audio recording?

    I'm a little confused here because some people are saying that a podcast is a little more complicated than a simple audio recording. Please explain this to me.

    If i'm not mistaken a podcast is basically just a different term used for audio clips you would place on an iPod.

    No, there's no difference, except for the fact that you RSS feed your content out, which can be picked up by mobile devices as well
