i see people keep asking for help here all the time because their proxy site got banned or their adsense account got banned. and there are lot asking for help on how to increase their income because they just started a proxy site yesterday.

whats the deal with these proxy sites then? why all the newbies getting into adsense for the first time start running proxy site where the are million other niche? proxy sites are one of the worse when it comes to adsense. still so many people are going for it. any idea why all the newbies run proxy along with adsense? if you are running a proxy site yourself, then your comment on what promped you getting your own proxy with adsense site started will be welcomed.

Proxies are actually good in adsense. Although the amount per click given can often be terrible, the CTR is often higher than normal sites.

Proxies may be a saturated niche, but places find out about them and "block" them, so people have to make more and more.

What encouraged me to start a proxy was that I wanted to try something new, and if advertised to the right audience, it can be effective traffic and adsense wise.

He's just stating that he often sees proxy owners AdSense accounts getting banned. You can use AdSense on a proxy site.

I did wonder what all the proxy fuss was about ... And I guess that the saturation issue is true too.

Only if you're a reseller of major hosting company. Also - proxies = big bank.
