Its broadband ! .... Yes... its a good speed... although its slow ... i can do all the things which u can !!...
I'm currently subcribed to Hughes Net's ProPlus package ($99.99US with the promotional plan), which gives me 1.5 Mbps down and 200 kbps up and a lousy 425 MB download threshold (which is not hard to reach nowadays). The speed test shown above was done just a few minutes ago...my ping was registered at about 980 ms. During peak hours my speeds are cut nearly in half and my ping times are 2500+ ms. Unfortunately since I live in the boonies, it's my only option as far as high speed internet is concerned (at least until BPL gets implemented).
96 kbps is not broadband. Broadband is only above 256 kbps in India. Mine is 2Mbps. Even that seems slow to me many a times!!
Just cause it is a business line with 64 IPS so around 60 computers are using this connection. hell of slow speed in rush hours.
Im from Russia. I have 2000 kbps 15Gb international trafic, russian trafic unlimited, no erors. 24$ month. My friend have 4000 kbps - 36$
