These kind of sites are usually sold when owners feel that they get closer to the end ... Just after recognising that the earnings are decreasing , they get rid of them ... because in some time there will be no cure
yea, I would pay over a million for this definitly. I mean look at the posts per day, and members. I cant imagine how much he makes on ad's here, and other things too.

well millions of course but shawn wouldn't sell because hes basically sitting on income for life or as long as this site stays up which seems like for a very long time. if he sold it now it would be bad on his part he would probably blow through 2-3 million dollars in 5-10 years. maybe even sooner if he spent it badly.
Its only worth what the balance sheet says its worth. A buyer will look at how much money he can make out of it. If adsense and donations are its only revenue stream then it cant be worth much. Many of you say like..."WHOAH DUDE!! DP makes 15k per month in adsense, dp must be worth millions". But I think you all forget it probably costs that per month just to host the servers and hardware. Poor Sean is probably scraping by month after month poor fellow unless he is a multimillionaire himself and only has DP for fun.
