What's the correct format then?

    I finally made to 50 posts on this forum and I thought "Oh goody. I can sign up to the revenue sharing thingy." All I get is an error message when I try and put my ID into the ID field. I've tried it two ways:
    pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (obviously with my number instead of the x's.)
    and
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    When I go to save a message says:
    "You did not enter the correct format for the Google AdSense Client ID field. Please read the field description for the expected format."

    What am I doing wrong?

    the correct format is with the pub-, u sure you're entering it right?

    Ah! I've just discovered it's channel ID that's wrong. When I left it blank it accepted my publisher ID. Now, does anyone know the format for a channel ID please?

    Your channel info should just be a sequence of numbers. The easiest thing to do is copy and paste directly from Adsense.
