What's the cause of this traffic decline (organic)

    Hi Experts,

This question is very important for me so please help me.

My site is new and I was getting approx 200+ organic visits a week from Google and this number was increasing daily but for the last 4 days the organic traffic from Google is decreasing dramatically i.e from 200 weekly to 70 weekly (from 40 daily to 10 daily). I update my site daily with 1-2 unique web pages.

On the other hand, MSN traffic is steady no big change in it.

I want to know what's the solution of this problem.

I will really appreciate any help for this problem
    Regards
    bushib

Hi bushib, you say your site is new, how long has it been in the index for? have you been monitoring what keywords you had high positions for and have you registered to google webmaster tools to get access to sitemap info. Using your logs and query stats will give you more info on what pages are starting to lose traffic.

I have seen new sites get an initial boost and then google settles them back into the index, maybe this has happened to you.

Maintaining organic traffic isn't easy. You can be #1 for a keyword one day and not in the top 1000 the next day. All you can really do is work harder, double your efforts, do more than what you are doing now. Keep building links, updating with new content, etc. etc. And maybe you will get your rankings back.

If your site is local this could be due to bad weather, spring break, etc. etc. Too many factors to come in. Also if your site is new it is just part of the game. Pages show up and disappear without warning and can happen for several months :\
