What's the catch on products advertised on TVs like CNN

I watch CNN a lot and sometimes I see product ads with too-good-to-be true prices like I would get 2-3 of the products for the price of one, etc etc. I think you'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen those ads.

I understand some of the products are cheaper than the delivery fees. What are the points I should think before deciding to order those products on TV ads? Why so cheaper than store prices? Should I start buying from those ads? I'll mostly be looking at CNN ads.

2-3 for the price of one? maybe the distributors or the manufacturers are trying to get rid of discontinued products.

Good point. Do you think there's risk buying from TV ads?

I would think it's like anything else, some of it good, some of it crap, buyer beware.

I've bought 2 things from TV ads that I really loved tho, a flavor wave oven (awesome), and a paint stick with a clear tube that automatically feeds a paint roller.
