bounce rate is the rate in which someone visits your site, and never visits another page, but leaves. You'd want to get it as low as possible in most cases (although it can be a good indicator to have a high bounce rate for sites that have a lot of affiliate links or point visitors directly to a point of purchase) it has nothing to do with adsense earning, but it can increase your bounce rate if someone is clicking an ad and leaving your site for that new session.

Most of the 'bounce' visitors usually come from a search engine searching for specific information and never visit another page than what they were looking for
