Does anyone know what the best software for coding wordpress themes? I am good at photoshop but not the best at css or other coding. just looking for the best software to help me with that. I would like it to be very seo friendly too. Thanks guys
Well if you don't know a lot of css and code, try this: Get the Web Developer extension for Firefox. Download a free wordpress theme that is already SEO friendly. Edit the css in Firefox Web Developer to customize. You can make changes and see the results as you do so. If you get it the way you want it, just copy that css code in Web Developer and paste into the template's style.css file Should be a great learning experience.
the best wordpress them creation tools would be Photoshop and a decent text editor with syntax highlighting. though you could slice it up with ImageReady but the code can sometimes be very unpleasant. other than that, i am not aware of ANY software that will take a design and code a working theme for you.
Well there are a few online theme generators you could find, by curiosity I've googled wordpress theme generator and I've found some interesting results to my surprise.
