Whats the best way?

    What's the best way to start off from a PR0 to a PR2? Should I just link to directoies for now, and wait for an PR update then trade links w/ sites? Just trying to get the PR up a little so I can get some motivation.

    Just get a PR4 link. You will get PR2 easily. You can also get PR2 without buying any link but it takes about 6 months time. You also need good quality content.

    You can get to a PR3 just by submitting to web directories. You usually need to attract more links from high pr (4,5) sites to get your PR above 3.

    Focus less on PR and concentrate on having good SERP instead.

    just keep building backlinks. why limit yourself to PR2?

    Agreed I think you should not focus on pr you should focus on building traffic.

    PR is useless unless you are selling links on your site. Don't wait till the PR update... start off the work today :)

    yea dont focus on PR, but to get PR quickly trade links with HIGHLY relevant websites, and wait a few months - you could get your PR2 with as little as one quality backlink
