whats the best way to promote

Hey DP members i know most of you have forums and was wondering what are the best ways to promote a contest?? Should i do some kind of announement in the signature? Should I hire other people to post on other forums? The only forum i take part in is v7, Dp, and TAZ... whats your thoughts i plan to offer $100 via paypal and it will last two weeks..

 

With our contests, I usually go through social media channels and encouraging members to spread the word as well.

 

what if your a new site only been up about 15 days and just around 83 members?

nice thanks for the info man. Have you guys gotten much traffic from your signatures i've gotten some from mine usually get 3-4 signups a day now. Notice sometimes i see adds for 15k for like 45 per month do you think the amount of traffic would be greater or you just paying for the links?

Make sure you promote the contest conspicuously on your forum home page, if you haven't already.
