Whats the best way to place a footer on the bottom of the page?

    i've tried many things, but none of them seem to work. Right now I dont got a footer on the site because when I did it was acting funny and going all over the place. Whats the best way?

    Have you tried creating a footer.php, with the footer design, then call this at the bottom of your page?

    yeah i set the the position:absolute, bottom:0, but it ends up showing up on the top for some reason

    The footer should sit in a div tag, outside the content and sidebar divs (so right inside the main container). Then style it up from there with CSS.
