Hi, guys I have a proxy site which has average 320 unique visitors and brings about 5,910 - 10,000 impressions each day. However, the ADSENSE click rate is very very very low, only 4 - 12 clicks per day. I am using the default phpproxy script. Would you guys share your experience how you put adsense on the page or other programs that could get more revenue from such traffic? Thank you in advance
You might want to optimize the ad placement.Sometimes the quality of the source of traffic also matters.

Get a template that has adsense placed in such a way that it can never skip the visitors eye, also do some advertising, exchange links, send myspace bulletins, place banners on high traffic sites, add proxy to topsites, place the link in your sig, and everywhere possible. Also, don't forget to tell your friends about it, word of mouth does bring traffic. I guess, if you do the above mentioned things, you will definitely increase traffic as well as adsense income.
Get a dedicated server and offer two services - basic and premium. Of course, the premium service will cost your users a little bit extra. If you can produce a reliable, stable and feature rich service, it will be much more profitable than AdSense (and having to swap hosts every week when you get kicked off!)
I tried running a proxy once. It really wasn't worth it to have people use up my internet connection to look at porn.
Proxies are meant for such stuff by their nature. If you don't like it, you should simply avoid running a proxy site.
I'd run a proxy if it were used by people who needed to get around government censorship. But I don't see the value of helping people look at porn anonymously. Lots of cost for little to no return.
You can try the popunder program Adversal. It has good RAW impression rates. I think it's around $1.20 per 1000 loads.
I believe adsense is working fine for now on proxy sites . So , you need to check your ad placements . Good Luck ..!!
