In terms of SEO, what's the best way to have bilingual blog(s), put all the articles into one blog using two languages, or have two individual blogs, one for each language? If I put both into one blog, how can I use the catagaries, labels, so on? Use one language or two? Maybe put them into two blogs it a better idea, it's just a little bit difficult to manage two blogs. Any advise? Thanks
unfortunately, the absolute best way (especially for a true business) is to hire a translator. Otherwise, relying on online translators will just generate poor grammar. I don't think there's a single one out there that truly does a good job at it.
Sorry for the misleading. Actually I don't intend to translate, depend on the article, some articles I will write in one language for this language reader, some airticles I write in another language for other readers. What I'm not sure is whether I should split them into two differnet blogs or put everything into one basket, if latter, how should I manage the category, tages, blog name, etc in terms of SEO. Thanks
ahh, I see what you mean. Since you already have blog #1 complete, why not just copy over the template of the blog to a brand new blog, and then fill that new blog with the same articles that are translated in the second language? Another possibility is to create subdomains...maybe english.mysite.com, chinese.mysite.com, german.mysite.com, etc.
