The best way is to get involved. Without talking to others, nobody will get to know you, and thus won't follow you. Give out a lot of advice and you'll see your followers list rise.
Now that twitter reaches maturity, it is not anymore quantity of followers that count but their quality. You have to spend some time searching twitter for people and groups with same/similar interests to yours, sort out those that offer content that is useful, interesting, offers opportunities for learning.
The fastest way to get followers is by using some automated program like 1- Tweet adder (starting at $55 for 1 profile up to unlimited for $188) 2- Tweet attacks ( free or $57 or $147) 3- Social oomph (free or $30 a month) They all have something that differentiates themselves from one another. Check out the details on each, try the free versions and then pick one or more. The best one for you depends upon what type of marketing you want to do . Also, as others have mentioned, there is a difference between the 'fastest way' and the 'best way' to get followers. The best way includes targeting your intended followers by your 'niche' or product area. That is one flaw with the free twiends tool. There is a keyword option there - but hardly anyone ever uses it and thus you get no one to follow. This means you are left with random follows and followers. That type of 'quantity' versus 'quality' followers doesn't do much good at all. And the biggest key is that to be effective you must tweet and interact with followers like a real human and not a bot. Total automation is not the answer - automation is supposed to be a tool/assist/helper.
Keep your account on target in your niche is one of the best things you can do and in your tweets make sure to include your keywords. Simple tweets like "good morning all" isn't going to let people find you on search, but a tweet like: "Time for some coffee while I look at the current stock market status, not good!" The later will help you gain followers in search if you were in the stock market niche.
Natural followers are so much > then mass paid or bot followers. I highly suggest you look into naturally building them. I have articles at my blog in my signature.. and if you pm me i can assist you with my strategies. i have accounts with 4-9k followers that are trash... all bought / botted my main account now with 700 legit followers converts ten folds.
There is lots of managing tools for your twitter account which would help you take control of you followers and following count
Yeah, I agree with you, this is seems like to be the best way for a user to earn respect by the other user and therefore they might follow you
Trust me guys, nothing works better than manual, however you can create a good strategy to save time.
Yes you are correct nothing works better than manual link building. Read more about how to drive traffic more and quality traffic and apply it
I do not recommend mass following at all. I have about 3000 followers, all niche targeted, and yet my links never receive any exposure whatsoever. If you're going to do it at all, I'd add manually and build a small base of followers who actually care.
Yeah, mentioned this on another thread but I've been very happy with TweetAdder for getting followers on auto pilot. You are able to unfollow too.
Keep posting good stuff in twitter, be an active participant in conversations and be engaging. Follow many people and you would get many followers back ! All the best !
