Here is a quick formula that will help. Write a great article and publish it a articlesbase or article alley. You can link directly to your domain in the body of articles submitted to these websites.
Make sure it is a prominent link. Then, once you are published, go to blogs that have the "recent comments" widget, and make thoughtful comments on them. Link all of your comments to your article, not your website. You'll see a lot of links to the article, and from there ONLY interested people will visit your website. It works. Try it.
