What's the best way to get traffic/become on page 1 of google?

I know there are many different methods, but I was wanted your thought on what's the best way to get traffic/ get on page 1/2 of google.

 

just type the keywords in search box, you'll find it

 

I just got on the first page of Google with a simple 264 word press release. 13 hours later, I received a little over a 600 views and 194 visits.

 

Press Releases. Their backlinks are dynamite.

 

Getting on the first page of Google is not an easy task, but NOT impossible. You have to continuously work on your SEO, write Press Releases, write and submit articles of High Quality. And in addition you will need to invest in some sort of paid advertising campaign, like Solo ads, newsletters and similar campaigns.

 

Thanks for your tips. A few days ago, I bought traffic from a ptc site, which was a mistake, because my place in google went down. I was on the top of 3rd page, and now i'm at the botttom of page four for keyword "make money forum." Hey advertise, what do you mean by Press Releases?

 

Moving up and down within the Google search results is typical for newly listed sites. The fact that you dropped a bit may or may not have had anything to do with the traffic getting method you used.

 

It seemed that right after I bought the traffic, my ranking started to plummet. But I guess it's because I have to keep on building backlinks.

 

The best way to get traffic is to become #1 on Google... It's in your Title...

getting on first page on google is very hard if you seek a very popular keyword because hundreds of people and companies compete and pay money to reach first level in google

 

Key words are the most important of all. Keywords are what generate the traffic.

 

Keep in mind that the PR's change quarterly. If your looking to battle through the SERP thats another issue

 

Basically figure out which keyword you're trying to get indexed for and outdo whatever webpages are already there.

 

Do a keyword research and then Submit your site to Directories and do manual social bookmarkings ...i.e. build up your backlinks, this would increase your pr and get you higher on google, and then you should start getting good traffic to your site ..... Build up your Twitter following too, since Twitter is easily caught up by google and count as your backlinks too ....

 

Just focus on :

social networking and realistic backlink building.

When I say realistic I mean ...which actually works.

i go for seo-ing my posts, make backlinks for it and use also social networking sites...

 

To get top rank in goole; you would have to invest your time to write articles,press releases and building backlinks,blog commenting. For traffic social media tools are the best way.

 

Usually new content can get to the first page for a day, until Google re-rank and push the content to the right place. That is why staying on top is hard, tons of links are needed to stay on top.

 

Put your keywords in your Page Title tag, meta (description,keywords) tag. Soon it will appear in google search.
