Whats the best way to clone your hard drive?

Hmmm yea, i have done the full low level format.

 

And you created at least one active partition? I'm not trying to be insulting here, by the way - just trying to understand how it's being recognized at the hardware level and not at the OS level.

 

I think longhorn is now Windows Vista. They've changed the name and yes beta of Windows Vista is out and i have it. But have not installed it yet.

I stopped trusting beta versions of OS since once i installed Windows 2000 Beta, they've a lot of bugs.

Will do it on some spare machine some day.

 

The tool im using shows its missing. Im not a hardware guru. How do you create one? Thanks!

 

Use the drive setup disk/CD that came with the drive.

If you don't have one, but know the manufacturer, download one from the website.

I have one more question though.

On my AGP slot it says "Do not use 3.3v AGP cards"

I have a radeon 9550 256mb

Can i stick it in?
