What's the best way to age my new domain ?

    Hello,

I have just bought a new domain name that I plan to build a business on in future. I had read here that people have suggested that it's best to put up some kind of home page on a new domain, rather than leave it dormant. I'm aware that google factors a domain's age in rankings.

I didn't buy it to resell. It's a pretty good name that I invested a reasonable amount in, so I don't mind forking out hosting costs and spending some dollars on it. I am busy with other businesses at the moment, so I might not get around to using it for a couple of years but if there's some simple things that I can do now that will help it pull traffic in a couple of years, I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks !
