    To get the quick rank in search engine then you will depend upon directory submission but if you want stable ranking in search engine then you have to depend upon forum and blogs as well . It gives stability to ranking as if directory is the best way to push up your rankings. You can rely on forum as well as on directory submission But if you create forum with signature in that then it will be more beneficial and help in you for relevancy with stability function.

    I think your to focused on seo. But you should not copy content if the site which has copied your content and you do the same the fault will come to you though you are not the copier as that site is ranked #1.
