    I've been using FlashBack for some time and I'm very happy with it. Producer also releaseda a free version. What is the best thing in it is the editing stage ( you don't need another software to edit grabbed video, very easy to use by the way) and internal compressor that allows to save recorded content lossless. You can also export the video to many formats including SWF, MOV, AVI or even directly onto Youtube.

    I'll recommend Camtasia Studio....as it is really a great application....I can record my screen while working on applications which requires a lot of memory...and still no lagging in the recorded video... :)
