    camstudio is good for that however, it saves as an avi file which is large.
    Go to pcfreetime.com/
    Format factory and download a piece of software that can convert the file to
    wmv it will reduce it considerably. Then you can upload it much faster to a site
    like youtube.

    Video editing is best done in Sony Vegas, it's undoubtable! When I first tried it, I could no longer use other services, really) as for the shooting, yes, those who advice CamStudio are absolutely right.

    I use Adobe Captivate 5. It's brilliant because it automatically generate the 'text baloon' for you.

    It's downside, it sucks at exporting.

    I have worked with Adobe Captivate for several times, it seems too complicated for understanding at 1st glance, had to watch a video tutorial to grasp how this or that can be done. Though, the functionality is decent

    Well, I'm also for Adobe Captivate!!! I think all Adobe products need video tutorials:) But being difficult from the first sight they give perfect and qualitative results of working with them.
