What's the best sloution for content website

let's say you want to build a articles website for one topics "sports cars"

what is the best content management that is free & easy to use.

will WordPress is the best? even if it's blog software. Any other alternate ?

If the directory structure is simple and non-collaborative, I would recommend Wordpress. If you have a complex directory structure, then you might want to look at an Articles directory. Wordpress will get you better visibility, if the content is unique and fresh.

Wordpress is a more than capable CMS, Joomla is okay also but for ease of use I would recommend WP everytime

try www.wpsorted.com ... it's no longer my site anymore but I made the current crop of themes on there.

Remember, free templates look like free templates

 

Only Joomla is going to be the best for you.
Its the most recommended CMS now and so we are using it since 4 yrs.
