Hi guys, I'm looking to set up a shop with a minimal product range and wondered what would be the best script to use.

SEO will be important so any tips that you may have will be helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

    dEVS! ;)

I think, that the best seo platform is osCommerce. It is a free open source and complete shopping cart solution.

I use BigCommerce for several of my money site. It is limited in it's backend application but it is 100% customizable. Only thing I dont like is you cannot use Dreamweaver to update.

I like Magento also. I use their eCommerce platform also.

yeah OS Commerce, but if its only a couple of products, you can probably use word press aswell with all the benefits of seo that comes with it? there are e-commerce themes & plugins etc which make it easy

You could go for Magento. It provides everything that is required for SEO.

Hi guys and many thanks for all the feedback. I've been looking around and am swaying to osCommerce as I've found a nice theme that would work for what I'm trying to do.

I've purchased 3 domain names that relate (via keyword) to the 3 products that I will be selling and hope to have all listed on google and feeding traffic.

I'm just not 100% sure on the best way to do this?

Should I just build one site that all three domain names link directly into or should I build three separate sites. All listing the 3 products but weighted via the domain. IE.

Dryroastednuts.com - The index displays dry roasted nuts right away and seo textual blurb relating to dry roasted nuts, with links through to Saltednuts.com

Saltednuts.com - The index displays salted nuts right away and seo textual blurb relating to salted nuts, with links through to Dryroastednuts.com

Would this be a good seo option or just make things complicated and hard to manage?

    Thanks for any help.

    Devs.

I think it's better you create 3 different mini sites with them and let them link to each other. (but 1 shop integrated)You're talking about 3 products so I don't think you would have a lot of different content but each domain will have their visitors from different SEO approach. If you link the 3 domains to 1 site the seo part is the same for the 3 names. In the end it depends on how good the domainnames really are. (That I can't tell you)
