I think I'm going to start with Netklix before I move on with Adwords from google Thank You everyone for the help!
May be these can be useful for you: Avoid: 1. Avoid being in a hurry 2. Avoid over bidding (I rarely start a PPC ad taking the recommendation of what the suggested minimum bid is) 3. Avoid trying to trick the search engines: spam, phony pages etc. (this will get you black listed) 4. Avoid spending more than you can afford to lose on a test campaign Successful tips: 1. research, research, research 2. Start your bids low and bottom feed until you get enough cost data to jump in 3. build pages relevant to your keywords 4. test and test again. If your test does not produce put it on the shelf and test something else. 5. If you find an ad or keywords that produce a profit - duplicate the process 6. use split testing - always use multiple ads I like to run 2 ads side by side and determine the best producing. I do this over and over to make sure I'm using the best performing ad.
Another couple of cost-effective ways to get started with PPC is to: 1. Use long-tail keywords (e.g. Dog Trainer = Dog Trainer Sydney) Not only will you find it cheaper but you are narrowing your niche. 2. The other thing you can try is advertising on some of the 2nd tier search sites like Ask, LookSmart or AltaVista as you will probably find the cost per click lower. The top tiers are Google,Yahoo,Bing(MSN) Giap
If you are new and inexperience, best is to avoid the top tiers: Google, Yahoo,Bing, although the reach is the best. Go for the second tiers : ASK,MIVA,Bidvertiser,Netklix.... Try to avoid expensive learning curve with the top tiers. If you go for Google Adwords, avoid the Content Network first and go for only the Search Network. Most of the traffic, 80% come from Content Network, but the traffic may be of low quality, they may come from arbitrage sites and low quality sites. This will eat up your budget very fast without conversion. Better target higher quality traffic from the Search Network. Match your keywords with your landing page for better conversion and to get higher Quality Score of Google. That your cost per click will be lower. Hope it helps Giap
