Where is the best place to look to build links for your website. I need links for SEO. Should i just contact site owners? or is there a place i can look?
visit a free directory got o related category. see if they have link page or something similar & if they have contact them.
How many sites do you think i should backlink with to see any results? lets say they're all PR 4 or above.
i use lavalinx, if i were you i'd look into that, it's free right now so it'd help you out a ton. the guy is a guru at seo, seriously and you'll learn so much from his system. either lavaball or lavalinx.com.
Have you checked out the link sales forum here? It's honestly a great place to go, but I would first do the basics (article & directory submission) until you gain trust with Google before buying links. If you already have trust, check out the link sales forum here.
There are several factors to take into account before you can truly continue. Well, not really, I mean, just get as many links as you can from any place willing to link to you... Though, erm, back to the several factors. Traffic: If you are looking for traffic, then you'll want to find links on popular blogs, signatures on active forums, and sites that others tend to link too. Anything that gets traffic, should send a little of that traffic through it's links. SERP: You'll need to look into this more, but links to help SERP pretty much fall down to anchor text, and applies pretty much to any & all links. EX: links for SEO is better then http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=5590210#post5590210 Alexa Rank: You'll want to get webmaster related links, as about the only folks that care about alexa are webmasters and as such they are some of the very few willing to install that spam filled toolbar. Page Rank (Google): You'll need to figure out the math for this one, math I've never bothered to look into. Though, the higher the PR on the page linking to you, the better the PR that'll be pushed your way. Other?: There are other reasons, but generally I don't really care. I am for the traffic in most instances, so I'll try to get my link on related pages, and preferably related pages that have a greater chance of pushing traffic. Again, you'll need to look deeper into the things I've said, as I've given only a grain of sand in a full beach of information.
