What's the best place for selling an ebook? It is on a topic dear to me and I want it to reach massive audience but not for free. What are your suggestions?
If book is related to topics germane to DigitPoint try http://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/ebooks.php.
It depends on what niche you're writing in. If it's internet marketing or MMO you won't find a bigger place than the Warrior Forum. If it's not related to IM you can put it on Clickbank and start searching for affiliates.
Promote your ebook through Clickbank. You'll need a sales page and some killer copy to get that to work.
Kindle would be a good place to start especially if it's subject matter is in high demand, with little competition.
E-junkie is a shopping cart and digital delivery system for publishers who have their own Web site and are looking for a way to include “buy now†buttons to sell downloads. Using E-junkie, you can store your files on their servers, and buyers of your work are sent an e-mail (customized by you) to download the product after a successful purchase. Cart buttons are available for a number of payment systems including PayPal, Google Checkout and Authorize. Net. E-junkie can also be used to sell tangible products on your site. For tangible products, E-junkie lets you include details such as shipping and packaging, sales tax, color and size options, and more. E-Junkie pricing starts at $5 per month. This account gives you the ability to list up to 10 products within a 50-MB space limit. Sounds like a great deal to me.
Like some others have said, it depends on the niche. Internet marketing? Warrior Forum. I also do really well on Kindle.
- forums - amazon - itunes - guest blog posts - on your site (through cta offers) - email campaigns - adwords - free teaser with a CTA for the book
What are the topics relevant to DP? Where can I find the details? Can you please help me by providing a link?
Since Digitalpoint is the largest web related forum, web related topics are appropriate. Check the variety of ebooks on sale here https://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/ebooks.4/category.
It always depends upon the topic of your e-book. But as of now Kindle is sweeping in all frontiers. So you can target that.
