I would recommend Hostgator at www.hostgator.com and use their quick install feature to get MyBB and that's it. It's only about $4.95 a month.

    Hello.

If you like web hosting with Cpanel for just 1 € / month for one web site or for 10 € / month for unlimited domains (no reselling...) you can try:
    www.super-server.eu or www.studiofaca.si/gostovanje/

    1. Packet: 1 domain name, 250 MB unlimited traffic, 10 € / year
    2. Packet: unlimited packet with 1 GB web spaces, 100 € / year

Paying type: band wire or paypal

When you need to find best, you'd better set any criteria like reliability of the network, hardware and service plans configurations, the way that support works, etc.

liquidweb. is the best on support. It certainly not the cheapest, but when you need your site working and fast response time, they are the ones to go to.

If you are looking for Best VPS plans, here goes the list...
    1. Digital Ocean (Unmanaged) - Accepts Paypal and fastest growing - Vps Start from $5 (512 mb ram)
    2. Linode (Unmanaged / Managed)- Vps Start from $10 (1 gb ram)
    3. Media Temple (Managed) - VPS starts from $55 (2 GB RAM)
    4. Liquidweb (Managed) - VPS from $50 (1 GB RAM)
    5. Vultr (Unmanaged) - VPS from $5 (768 MB Memory)
Clearly Unmanaged VPS services are way cheaper than managed services. I have used three of them namely , Digitalocean, Linode and Mediatemple. All three of them equally good with almost 100% uptime and no problem at all.

I have used over 20 different web hosts over the years and with all types of different websites.

If you are looking for shared hosting then the best I have found is Namecheap. Having a forum site means that there can be issues that arise from time to time. When these issues arise and you need to deal with your hosting company's support, that's when the great companies set themselves apart from the rest. Out of over 20 different hosting companies, the support at Namecheap is BY FAR the best support I have ever dealt with.

They have good pricing and much better resources than many other hosts offer.

I use and proudly recommend Namecheap. Once you try them you won't want to leave, they are awesome.

The important thing will be the speed and power of the server. Forums can be very resource hungry and if the server does not have enough power, or if you are using a virtual server and other users are using up the processing time, your forum will run so slow that your surfers will leave you, a forum needs plenty of posting members to work.

    For my 2 boards with 5k and 9k daily I'm using linuxssdvps.com
Nearly 100% uptime (have no single downtime or lag for 138 days now and counting). With their pure SSD drives and 100Mbps my websites/forums loads in 1.20 to 2.40sec worldwide and of course that boost my SERP ranking since loading time is main seo factor .
Also they are offshore / dmca ignoring .. when you are running forums is really important to not have issues with dmca since you cant censorship your community right? PayPal/Skrill & Bitcoin are accepted as payment. I use bitcoins since I'm working with :D

Having hosting offshore is no protection against DMCA. If you are a US citizen or living in the US then even if your hosting company is based on the moon, you still have to obey US laws. If caught you are looking at a stupidly high fine, possible jail time, and paying hefty compensation to the copyright holder. Do not assume you are protected by being offshore, moderate all posts, kill any that break DMCA. If a post on your forum breaks copyright laws, so do you! It is easier to prosecute/sue the forum owner than the poster, so that is what they will do 99% of the time.
