I am planning to make my own site. So I need to know whats the best niche where I can get good revenues and traffic.
Hi there, The best way to find a great niche that has good revenues and good traffic is to do your research - there's no way around it - unless you hire someone else to to this for you. Good markets are, of course, health/fitness; self-improvement; marketing/internet marketing, and so on (too many to list). Look for what seems to draw the most attention, then drill down into that market and hunt for overlooked and under targeted nuggets within that market. Also check out what's trending right now to help generate some ideas. As JimGee says, not many people are just going to hand over the niches they are working in and are successful in - that makes more competition for them! Best wishes to you, Anita
my suggest,.. find niche that suitable with you,.. if you like it and then you will do it, it simple, don;t too hard to push your self looking some niche that you NOT good at
I recommend you sit down and write down everything that you know how to do, that you're good at, that other people have noticed you're good at, that you enjoy doing. So, if you're a good writer and people love your artwork, you'd write down writing and drawing/painting. Then start looking at magazines and forums for people who have those skills that you have and enjoy. Start getting to know the people and soon you'll figure out what it is they need, that you can offer. Or, let's say you're a writer and an artist. You might discover that artists on a forum really need someone who can write great descriptions of their artwork and will pay money for this (I'm totally pulling this example out of thin air, btw). Or maybe the writers on another forum need amazing illustrators for their books. Figure out how to combine your skills in such a way that you meet your target market's needs. Once you've figured that out -- then you can make a website.
Hi,To get the best niche for ur site, first try to write down the topics that are mostly searched by people in the search engine.. that will give you the good visitor's count to ur site...
Ditto Michelle.. I agree totally. I put up a bunch of sites in niches that I had no interest in and quickly discovered that I didn't want to work them. I didn't know anything about the niches I was in either and that made it very difficult to write articles or blog about them. Long story short.. I sat down and did exactly as you suggested and then set up websites in niches that I am interested in (yoga, meditation, green energy etc) and I can blog or write all day long because I'm interested in the subjects.
You need to do keyword research and discover a niche, start with topics you feel passionate about. Check the amount of competition and the amount of related searches to determine which will be easy to tap.
You have to start with what you are passionate about. If you are passionate about something you will create your own niche. If you only try looking for what is popular, then whatever you find is an overpopulated/over-competetive area and it will be hard for you to penetrate it. Website building is not easy, you will go thru a lot of frustration and trials - so unless yo are passionate about your topic, you will lose heart eventually and stop doing it. But if you believe in your topic, you will find it easy to face any adversity and eventually succeed (and be rich). Good luck!
Market Samurai is an excellent tool to use to figure out what keyword phrases people use to search for the product or service that you'll be offering, or figuring out if what you'll be offering is profitable or not. Not so good for figuring out what you'll be offering.
