Whats the best Myspace clone script? Paid / Free Doesn't matter

Whats the best myspace clone script, thats easily customizable? Paid / Free, either one. =) +rep for answers!

 

I heard Boonex is pretty good if you want something free.

Yes we looked at the Boonex one - some of the features look very nice. Also Xoops/phpmyspacegold is worth considering

Try and steer clear of the cheap eBay clones. So many people report of bugs and stuff.

I have a social running site using boonex its in my sig, however beaware you will need some serious hosting power im talking $400 plus and thats just for a few thousand members like 1000+

If you dont then prepare for your site to freeze, stick and page not found will occur. but apart from that its ok once you get the dam thing up and running.

 

I will also recomended PHPfox or alicia, less resourceful easy on the old server

 

I realize you are looking for a social networking script, but thought you might be interested in looking at Ning. We found them not too long ago and got some ideas for our own community script too. they are at www.ning.com Hope this helps.

 

Drupal, plus loads of add ons. Never tried it myself but I've seen it used very effectively.
