Whats the best linking method to help increase your sites traffic

    I have been linking to High PR sites and now I have a PR3 site but traffic has been about the same. Does the increase in traffic come by having top spots in serps like 1-10 or the long tail of your sites links

    I have four keywords that are in the top 10 in google but most of my traffic come from my long tail which are mostly my forum posts.

    How can I make my post have better serps so I can get more traffic

    or is there another solution

    How many visitors do you want every day? 100,1000 a 1,000,000? If you're happy with a hundred then if you participate in forums, comment on blogs, and use social bookmarking sites than you'd be ok. If it's a 1000 then use PPC, if it's a million (Just get a good server first). HeHe

    as of now I get 4000 unique visits a day but I would like to go up to 20,000 per day

    hire someone, outsource the SEO job, with those numbers per day I reckon you can earn not lesser than $300 so you can outsource $100 and by the end of the month your earnings will double, then do it all over again. soon it'll be like taking candies from babies

    4k Uniques daily is a very good number, do you pay for any of the visits? If not you could get some good visits if you spend some of your daily revenue to buy traffic.

    Adwords is great, have you ever tried page-impressions on adbrite? You'll get mostly visitors that don't convert at all, but there are some occasional hits where visitors go a couple of pages deep before leaving the site, and considering how cheep it is to buy theses types of impressions it would be a total waste not to spend a couple of pennies and experiment.

    Do adwords, and only from forum posts and blog comments, you cant get to 20000. YOu need to get to better position. What is the technorati position? and wat is alexa saying? How many backlinks? check all these things, and pm me, please.

    To improve your traffic you must improve your rankings in the serp for specific
    keywords as well as the long tail search terms but this can take some time
    depending on how competitive your niche is.

    Linking to high pagerank sites doesn't help your PR. I assume that was a typo on your part and high PR sites link to you, but this is a common misconception.
