    Blah! I don't see Ensim in da poll!!! Cpanel is crummy when it comes to the Fantastico section. I got errors or it didn't work half the time when I tried to set something up.

    See the thing is with fantastico, its allways out of date. Half the stuff you install with fantastico has newer versions released. Im a hugh blogger and own about 50 wordpress blogs, and... The fantastico version of wordpress is the old one. ): Fantastico needs updating with better software i think :)

    cPanel is the most requested and easiest for most people so as a host it's a good choice. It can get buggy at times though.

    DA is very light on the server and retains the most used features. Another good choice.

    I haven't fully tested Helm but I know the developers put alot of work into it.

    The only one I would not reccomend is Plesk. You can run into some compatibility issues with it.

    I think Plesk 8 is the best at the moment but if they fix some of the bugs at cpanel i could change my mind.

    cPanel gets my vote. Easy to use and most customers like it. I used to use H-Sphere because it had pretty much everything you need to run a hosting business included with it (accounting, knowledgebase, integrated with most payment processors and merchant gateways, automated account creation on signup, etc) the big problem I found with it was customers were not used to it and wanted cPanel. The only drawback to cPanel is that you must get 3rd party (mostly paid) programs for all the addons listed in H-Sphere.

    Just my 2 cents

    I have to agree i think Cpanel cost a lot but its worth it , and every one likes it and is use to it more than any other control panel , best yet you will get cpanel free mostly with any resellers account.

    Yep cpanel license is kinda expensive becuase Direct Admin is free license is around 9$ for dedicated server whereas cpanel is 25$ cpanel/whm/fantastico :)

    CPanel-->Plesk--->The rest of it :)

    I love CPanel as its easy to use & easy to understand even for the beginner.
    I already have ordered CPanle/WHM on my upcoming hosting server :)

    I would have to agree with most of that. Not sure what you mean by compatibility issues with Plesk, though.

    I have had opportunity to work with all the major control panels - cPanel, Plesk, Ensim, H-Sphere, Helm, DirectAdmin. My personal favorite is cPanel, but that is probably because it appears to be the most user friendly for my customers. Although, DirectAdmin has certainly caught my eye.

    In the end, every cp will have its pros and cons. H-Sphere is fantastic for cluster management but it is somewhat difficult to use, cPanel has great features including Fantastico but the scripts are often outdated, etc. They all have their pluses and minuses.

    cPanel only most popular but too many bug. I vote for Helm but Helm only for Win server.
    Plesk is #1 for Linux server and #2 for Win server.
