If you're someone who does not believe everything on the mainstream media/internet and is into natural beauties, landscapes and rock climbing then i'd recommend checking out the northern side of Pakistan. It's quite healing and also not that expensive of a stay.
That's stunning - I'd definitely like to tour Bhutan, Nepal, northern India and I'll be sure to add in Pakistan. I've just been listening to Amanda Kendle's podcast about travelling to dangerous places where they talked about how supposed trouble spots aren't necessarily out of bounds.
If they have problems with fake airplane drivers, I would assume that they would have even bigger problems with fake motorcycle drivers.
The good news is that Air New Zealand has laid off 300 pilots so they can probably employ some of them - and their training really is first class.
The airline industry is in real trouble right now, with no end in sight. For business travel here in the U.S., the current situation is worse than what happened with 9/11. Back then, travel stopped for a few months but then picked up again. Not clear when or if business travel will pick up again with so many people and companies going virtual. Tourism is in bad shape, too. I have a niece that works for a major airline and I am worried for her job/career as I expect consolidation and closings to be the word of the day for airlines in 2020 and even into 2021.
i'm interested in the Sinai desert! look up sharm and dahab! they only need good marketing and pr with trillions in under-capitalized assets of ALL KINDS! Best Regards, General HaKhan
We visited Salzburg during the time we spent in Austria, then headed to Abteneau for a couple of days. With Abtenau, we fall in love. We went from there to the Gasthof just south of Trieben for a couple of days. I have my private pilot's license and I have arranged for us to fly from Trieben airport. We spent an hour riding in the air through the mountains and watching the beautiful landscape. We spent a day in Leoben after that. I got a haircut in Leoben and we took an overnight train to Italy from there.
