What's the best free FTP client you use?

Well, I dl'd Smart FTP and I can't for the life of me figure out how to see my local directory? I am annoyed just enough to uninstall and look elsewhere.

I use WS_FTP, good but not great

 

WS_FTPLE is not working great for me either. Unless something else is wrong? It says:

connecting to **.**.**.**:21
Connected to **.**.**.** port 21

! Connection failed to ***********

Any ideas?

I am using ws_ftp. It's free for personal use.

 

that is so easy in Smart FTP... i dont know how you missed it... maybe you need to try CuteFTP then... its much easier and i heard its way easy for newbies

I have been using Smart FTP for like 5 or 6 years. No complaints.

 

I see alot of Windows FTP Clients, I own a Mac and use "Cyberduck" Its free and excellent user interface:

I use Smart FTP..that's the only one I've ever used..well used filezilla and others but most comfortable with this one.

 

i like fireFTP,
its an extension that works within firefox.

I use an old version of filezilla. It does the job and doesn't require installation like other ftp clients.

 

I use Cyberduck on my Mac.

 

cuteFTP has been installled on my pristine image since forever. so whenever the time comes for a fresh re-install it's there already.
it does it's job, so no need to install anything else.

i use Filezilla too, i confirm that it's work well ... and free

it's very full featured, and can manage simultaneous connections
