My shortlist includes Ahrefs and Moz; do all these SEO search tools need me to register, first? And, once I do, (assuming I need to) how to practice?
The above-mentioned tools are paid and offer a week or 14 days trial. For a free trial, you need to register and have to submit your card details. Ahref. SEMrush and Moz, all are great SEO tools for Keyword Research, Link Building and optimizing the website. These tools are worth your money and you can learn these tools from free tutorials available on YouTube. You can choose one of them as per your requirements and the best suit to your pocket.
As per my experience, there is no best free SEO tool. Just get the paid version of Moz, Semrush or Ahrefs and be done with it. Relying on free SEO tools is not worth if you're doing it for a business or revenue-generating website.
So paid subscribing to an SEO search tool is inevitable? Did not know that. I'm poor, and unemployed; how much a year do I need to budget in SEO search tools? I hope no more than $20.
On Moz, I punched in "the war on terror," (no parentheses) and got a screen I'd share the screenshot of, but it's apparently too info-dense. What gives? Well, I was looking for stats, but got only this link: https://moz.com/domain-analysis/news.yahoo.com
I would suggest SEMRush. It is free for limited use, you only need to pay if you need to use full functionality. And even though free version is limited it can give you a lot of insight. Especially if you have smaller website.
The best free available SEO search tool would have to be Google Search Console. It provides users with valuable insights into their website's organic search traffic and performance. Additionally, it offers suggestions on how to improve one's website from an SEO standpoint. While there are other great free SEO tools out there, such as Moz's Keyword Explorer, Google Search Console is essential for any website owner serious about growing their traffic organically.
It is not a paid tool anymore. It gives you 3 searches for trial and limited information about the keywords. If you want to discover more or want to know the detailed keywords report, you need to buy the paid version. Or if you want to get the website audit report you need to register for the 7days free trial.
My list of 7 Must-Have Free SEO Tools for Beginners 1.Google Analytics. A great tool to get you started 2. AdWords Keyword Tool 3. Open Site Explorer 4. SEO by Yoast 5. PageRank Status 6. Google Webmaster Tools 7. Bing Webmaster Tools.
I agree, Ethel. I use Google Search Console almost daily for its very helpful keyword (and other) data.
There are a number of different free SEO search tools available, but the best one will depend on your specific needs. Some popular options include the Google Search Console, Moz's Open Site Explorer, and Raven Tools' Site Auditor. Each of these tools has their own strengths and weaknesses, so you'll want to try out a few of them to see which one works best for you. Ultimately, the most important thing is to make sure that you are using some sort of SEO tool to help you track your website's rankings and performance.
