What's the best CURRENT way to add friends and promote on MySpace?

I know there are scripts that add friends... which one is currently the best, fastest, and most likely to not get my account deleted?

Also, once I have a ton of friends, what is the best way to promote to them so they visit my website? Comments? Bulletins? How and what.

I am new to MySpace promotion.

    Thanks.

    Ethan

Ok thanks I will look into that... but can someone explain the best way to get traffic? Is it through bulletins or comments or what?

I used to be heavily into MySpace and pretty much dropped out when they added msplinks. This isn't a great time to get in on it; it's pretty much beaten to death.
Although I was marketing myself, I absolutely despised comment spammers and deleted anyone who sent them, phished or not. They take forever to load, are ugly and usually unrelated, most of them are exactly the same on everyone's profile...no, I don't think they are good at all. They used to come with the advantage of a backlink, but I don't believe that to be so.
Bulletins still bring reliable traffic when I can be bothered to post a round, but even though bulletins go to all your friends, they get bumped very quickly and don't get seen at all by member with 1k+.
My strategy with Myspace was to build dynamite profiles, fill them with all the info about my sites and direct links, and invite friends like crazy. At first it showed promise, but even with a friend adder it was a lot of work, and I gave up on that when I lost a 2K+ account for sending 1 message too many.
Just my experience. And this adder was always good, and updating as of July 18...I found the demo to be quite good.

you do know that telling every one you use a friend train is going to make you loose customers on dp... no one wants friend train lists due to the fact there normally other promoters so they don't get clicks

to Ethan i would get FBP and add only people you want to attract to your site by using the groups by interest function :D make a few profiles and fill them with nice content and don't use super fit girls use avg looking girls so it looks more real and a legit profile.
