I have two domains that I confused to fill the content related with the domain name. I need suggestions. What should I do, fill the content or should I sell them. Here are my domains : www.saveshenandoah.com www.thewiretv.com I confused because the domains have a good reputation, very specific name (niche name) and rich the link popularity. I am afraid, if I fill the content with a different topic as the original content (before they're expired), I will lost the link popularity. Please give any suggestions. Thank you.
You're right. You don't want to change the content. People come to that site looking for something in particular. If they don't find it, then they won't return. Plus if you change the content, then you will lose the links because the content will no longer match the links. If you can sell it for more than you paid, then sell and create your own domain name based on the content that you want. If you can find content, then do it to keep the traffic and monetize the sight. Just make sure that your content is good.
I think one issue that bloggers tend to overlook is, they try to pick up first domain names before thinking what would be its content. I think it should be the other way around. People should first think of what niche or content a site will have and then from there try to look for a domain name that will aptly capture the content of the site.
