Whats the best blogging software?

I would go for wordpress as it is the most supported software out there but I guess I am bius in it and for the skin...there are a lot of designers here that can do whatyou want including me altho I am more a coder then a designer...see www.edynas.com but if you already have a site and want the blog to match it shouldn't be a problem.

The design would be provided in PSD format, all that would be needed would be the coding... the design would be to match the design of the root website... if you could pm me a price that would be good. Im specifically looking for someone with a pixel perfect attention to detail.

Wordpress for its various plugins available , blogger hosted for its ease of use. I dont think any other blog s/w comes close.

There are tons of plugins and themes for wordpress,I can't find a reason not to go with it.

 

For an individual or small business, wordpress is the way to go. Since you asked for alternatives, Movable Type might be worthwhile if you were doing this for a larger company, or wanted great paid support.

 

Oki well the decision has been made and ive found a suitable coder at a suitable price as well... now i just need to do my PSDs and see what wordpress can do as i havent really used it before... also want to see what mods are offered...

I think the best is still wordpress and second is joomla
because i only know used that 2 cms

 

joomla is nowhere close to being useful for blogging. unless you got time to waste configuring

Wordpress is the best really, simply because of the customisation available.

 

I think wordpress is the best because of it's rich plug-ins & widget library.
