Hi, I don't like wordpress and blogspot. So what's the 3rd alternative for choosing a blogging platform just for adsense? Thanks
Wordpress is the BEST platform for blogging but you don't like that! Ok here is the list of blogging platforms http://www.problogger.net/archives/2006/01/18/blog-platforms-poll-results.
What is wrong with wordpress? I use Bluesense theme and it works wonders with SEO and page load times. But if your that much against it then go with tumblr.
I think it is just a matter of getting used to them if you are not that familiar. Google loves wordpress for some reason. Of course it likes it's own blogger/blogspot too. I usually have better results when using my own tld domain name rather than something.wordpress or something.blogspot.com, mydomain.com works better for me. That could be because I spend a lot more time on a paid domain than a freebee addon/subdomain though. There are a number of blogging scripts out there, many are good. Just seems wordpress is more popular. I am not a big fan of it myself. I think there are a few better ones, but since google likes it so much I do try to keep up and follow it. Wordpress is fairly basic and simple. That's why people use it so much. I am just more of a techie so it seems kind of lame to me that it is so simple. But I am not going to complain it gets results for most people.
Apart from Wordpress and Blogger you could give Yola (the free option) a try. Yola has a drag and drop system so you can easily add Adsense to your pages. No revenue sharing either. Flixya lets you have 100 percent of the Adsense revenue on your blog and you get traffic from day 1.
You may use Drupal, Joomla, DLE ... It doesn't matter what platform to choose, it's important to find AdSense tempates for them, and the easiest way is to find templates for Wordpress. But it's up to you. As for me, DLE could be a good choice.
As far I know WordPress is the best blogging platform and it is also good for Adsense. To get Adsense on your blog you have to fulfill few criteria.
With WordPress, you will able to use so many plugin for adsense. I personally use wordpress for my website (www.disa4dev.org) and don't found any difficulties. There have lot of options but when I know wordpress as best so why I refer another?
WordPress is widely used CMS for blogging and it is very good to use adsense with your WordPress blog. Alternatively you can use Ghost, Joomla, b2evolution for your blog.
