I know this is a little late post. father's day was 3 days ago. But I just want to ask everyone what's the best advice they receive from their father?
My dad once told me "save your money, you'll need it later on" and ya know, he was right, maybe thats why I'm always broke.
My dad was a worthless drunk! Never gave me one thing of any value except participating in sex to conceive me.
Hahaha... Cool dad! My dad ever told me once, "you can do whatever you want as a job, but be the best on it!"
I grew up with my step father for like 14 years, he told me "I don't care if you have sex, just use a condom".
Be honest and work hard! That was what he told me and he is no more now but I still practice what he preached
My father basically never give any advice, just that he sets an example by how he does things. I would say that to sum it up, what he has taught through his own actions is honesty pays. Be honest to yourself and to others. What goes around, comes around.
My dads more of a practical joker , so what ever he says makes me laugh ..... but he doesn't need to say much we grew up with good guidance, moral support and boundaries.
