just wanted to double check with the people here in DP

what is the avg rate that PR5 Directory charge for:

    premium listings?

    standard listings?

Also... what is the avg rate for sitewide links on a PR5 Directory?

    thanks for your input...

We are not sure that there is an average rate many factors go into the mix before prices are established
    ie
A site on the way up still growing and establishing will have their prices
A mature site will have their set rates
An old tardy forgotten site will have their rates

So many factors to consider, we follow sites that are active in the market place and are innovative and proactive

thanks for the input... is there a web tool that accurately checks the number of backlinks on a site?

also i was under the impression that the majority of submission rates were based on PR and not so much on site activity / marketing.

wouldnt it be implied that if a directory has achieved a modest pr, alot of time/ effort/marketing has already been spent?

Directories take time and they need sustainable support and marketing at all levels of the Directory development from start up to maturity

Jim onces told me that the best way to check for backlinks is via msn using command.

    link:yourdomain.com

Not sure if thats the case still now a days or not since msn has changed a lot ever since.

Check my siggy --if you want a tool. But I wonder how many go by these tools:rolleyes: You can get a PR4 link for $4 from a directory and you can get a PR 3 link for $35.

It all depends on what you want --where you want to list . Also how you want to assign you price. No standard set.

I have set $7.99 for my PR3 directory--and still get few submissions per month:D

You can probably research for that. Just go through paid directories with PR5 directories and check their prices.

I think, IMO, the average price of PR5 link should be somewhere around $20. Of course it is average, so you will see lower prices or higher.

If the price is low, it could be because the inner pages don't have PR.

    Standard: 15$
    Premium: 25$
Will up it after page rank update :) I think charging like 40$ is too much unless your directory is like Aviva or Alive :)
