hello guys, i'm from egypt and i might move to USA and i wanna know what's the average income for any individual in America per year here in egypt the average income is about $6000 per year .... actually that amount of money can make you live a proper life in here so how much income per year in America can make an individual lives a proper life???
Average income here is 45,000. You can barely survive because a house costs 100,000 here for something very cheap. Poverty is 11,000 or below a year here.
this is not just in US... ppl for all over the world are unable to buy a house then they have to rent. Prices have been sky rocketed during the last decade...
This is a silly question because it depends on what job you can perform. If you can only perform a minimum wage job such as working in fast food restaurant your salary would be one thing, if you have special skills it would be higher. The lowest you can be paid in the United States is $7.25 per hour. That is the Federal minimum wage. So if you get a job, it will pay at least that much per hour. It can be higher in some states, I believe in California for example, it is around $8.00 or more. That is probably the average household income, the average personal income would be less, probably closer to $25,000.
The national average is roughly 50,000 usd per year. I honestly would have thought it would be much higher than that.
That sounds like the household average, not the individual average income. It seems high for the household, and is definitely not the individual income average which is what he asked about. Where do you get that number?
Im In New York City, Average Income For a Family is $65k Poverty Is 18k TO Live Comfortable you need atleast $180k
I got that number from my lovely friend known as google, and yes that is the household income. I still say it's rather low. The average household from my hometown was roughly 80,000..The current area I relocated to is roughly 45,000, but spouses rarely work out here..which I find rather difficult to believe....
