whats the average age of a site that is top 10 in google?

    just wondering if there is there is any data on the average age of a site that is ranked in google. I'm up high in Yahoo and MSN and no where in Google. My site is 9 months old. I thinking and hoping its only because my site is young

    One of my sites is in the top 10 for 5 of my keywords,phrases.It's 6 months old but has been there for about 3 of them.

    I don't think you're asking the right question. For that matter, I don't believe discussions like "I'm #1 !!!!" are relevant at all.

    I can come up with some kw's a site even just indexed will rank in the top ten, so I really don't think there's any value.

    For your question: a site 9 months old should be able to rank just fine. Maybe it's the so-called sandbox you're experiencing?

    i don't know what it is...its just very frustrating. Just got to keep myself motivated and stop worrying about google and like they say in Field of Dreams, "If you build it, they will come".
