Hello everyone, Rory here. I am just getting my feet wet into affiliate marketing, and I am considering heading to my first conference next year (2007). Which do you advise? I can't make it to Affiliate Summit as Jan is too early.
Best Conference around to get your feet wet is AdTech. There is one coming up in San Francisco in April.
Best Affiliate Conference BY FAR is Affiliate Summit. AdTech is lots of different types of marketing and focuses very little on AM. There is another Summit July 8-10 in Miami. Plan for that one for sure! Early registration discount tickets go on sale in Jan.
Hey RedRory, I am seriously thinking of launching a new affiliate conference this year in South Florida. Our conference would cost little to nothing for affiliates to attend. I have not been at all impressed with the current couple affiliate conference out there. Ours will be heavy on networking and education relating how to really drive traffic and make sales with affiliate marketing. Let me know if you are interested.
Well even though this is sort of an old thread that got bumped back up, I wanted to mention the next Affiliate Summit is coming up in February. AffiliateClassroom is offering FREE affiliate manager training the day before the Summit starts too. I just blogged about it. Should be very good.
