I'm gonna go out on a limb tonight and say that those who are critical of a truly free-market are entirely responsible for this mess. What I don't understand are those who REMAIN to oppose economic freedom after it's playing out before our eyes that you CANNOT fix a problem with the same kind of thinking that got you into the mess. A free-market goes by the same exact system nature does, are we better than nature here guys? Do you really think that you can outwit a process that has been going on for billions of years? No, you can't, you're not that smart, we aren't that smart. I'm hopeful that after all of this people will come back to their senses and realize that the cons of an artificial system far outweigh the cons of a natural system. Isn't it ironic that these "economic geniuses" argue on the side that we all must be "protected" (from ourselves) when in fact that comes with a bigger burden than had we let live and let die! What's the point of saving a dying old man if it meant taking the life of both the dying old man and the young man with him that wasn't supposed to die? Now apply that to the economy. Why do we go out of our way to revive the decaying within us when it is NATURAL FOR THOSE PARTS TO DECAY?! It is my belief that those who argue against me truly believe that things like failure, death, rejection, etc. are all terrible things that should never be encountered, WHEN IN FACT, it is our intended purpose here on Earth to experience those very things. So here we are going out of our way to make sure nobody in America fails, gets rejected for a loan, etc. and in the process we end up taking the young man's life that shouldn't be trying to save it in the first place - American tax payers. How can we stand by and believe that system is the right system, and when we experience difficulties because of the intrusions of THIS VERY SYSTEM, we blame it on the only thing we have left that is right!! - a free market! So instead of realizing the problem we decide more government power is the solution and criticize those who ever supported such an "archaic" belief such as deregulation! On this plane of existence, we make mistakes, we learn from them and become stronger through them. It's those who fear failure and rejection who will never grow any stronger, they live in a world of lies they've been told their whole life growing up and you can't even blame them! It's the philosophy we've been living in that is wrong and must be done away with now.
