Opinion thread and facts if you got them. As of today, Monday, May 14 2007: I opened this thread to find out what products are selling best, excluding refunds which means refunds counts as a negative towards the products selling rate. Welcome and Thanks.
E-books on how to make adsnese money, sell on ebay and make money with Click Bank seem to do well. Also the digital products like registry cleaners and people searches seem to be big. Good luck
This thread is looking for actual results. It is understood that the statistics are a great barometer to find the better selling products but from an individual merchant's or promoter's experience, we are hoping to discuss which products have been the best selling on clickbank.
Gravity may only indicate that a lot of people are selling the product. This means you have more affiliates competing to sell the product you're selling. The result is fast saturation and product sales will quickly slow. Personally I'd rather promote something that isn't being pushed by every other Tom, Dick and Harry I 've found the gravity rating to be quite useless. Certainly doesn't match up with my sales stats. SpinningTornado has statistics on merchant affiliate programs that may be useful to you.
Well, that's not a bad place to start, but people aren't likely to divulge the actual statistics on what's selling well for them in the forum. It's one thing to say "Weight-loss" products are selling well, or "Burn the fat feed the muscle is selling well" ... which people will do, but also something you could find from looking at the gravity. It seems like you may be more looking for a discussion on how to sell certain products, rather than just "what products are selling well" ? If that's the case, you may be well off to start a thread based on that line, or even PM people who relate their success on other threads. I just say this because most of us put a lot of time & money into finding a way to make a CB product profitable, and many have had or know people just take and rip off/copy our whole setup once we actually give out specifics. -T
If I said XYZ sells really well, it does not mean it will sell well for you. It all depends on the audience demographic you can attract to view the ClickBank merchants offer. You will find that the best selling products are pushed by super affiliates with massive relevantly targeted email lists and tight networks with other super affiliates to leverage of their lists and traffic. Gravity is a poor reflection of how well you will do. There is still goldmines sitting in clickbank, great digital products just waiting to be promoted to the right audience.
Earlier on this year I setup a PPC campaign for a product with under 1.0 gravity and made several sales. The moral of the story is to do what everyone else isnt. Gravity Schmavity
That is an interesting angle Noobie2shoes. Getting in on the ground floor. I guess its about feel, like what is hot in general (as in sectors) like specific gaming, health, money making programs, etc. And even promoting styles like the emergance of directories, and having several pass through pages to get adsense sales.
anything that just came off the "best selling" charts (however that "chart" came to be) that anyone wants to talk, brag about? Enjoy.
Perfect. I have talked to a person on my own CB category and though he has a gravity of 17 while mine is only 2, and he gives only 50% commission compared to my 60% to affiliates and the product prices being almost similar, I make way more money than him. Check out Humor category on CB for the details. +1 again. Stan.
