Hi......Can any 1 tell me whats the real page rank.I have come across a page rank prediction tool....and after having checked my PR prediction through using that tool what i i am seeing is current page rank followed by real page rank......So i am confused from where on earth this Real PR system has come from?

What is fake PR? If you permanently 301 redirect a page to another one which has a high pagerank. After some time, in the next update google will start considering both pages the same and hence assign the same pagerank to the redirected page too. The pagerank gained due to page rank of the redirection target page, and not due its own backlinks is called a fake PR. After that page gets a fake PR you can stop redirecting it to the high PR page and build new content over it. Until google discovers the discrepancy, that page will enjoy the fake PR. There has been cases of fake Pageranks of as high as 10. But the higher the fake PR the shorter it lives.
