    i received my 1st adsense cheque...from bluedart....in India
    i deposited it in my bank account...HDFC Bank
    Now can any Experienced Person Please tell
    whats the procedure for Adsense Cheque payment
    ..means....
    How many days it take to clear....
    and
    Whats Conversion they charge

    Means suppose i deposited cheque of 100$ what amount i get in my account
    if 1$ = 45 Rs
    How much amount i get in my account.....
    4500 or less

    if it is in USD then it will take around 30-40 days to clear.

    It is better to opt cheque in rupees instead of USD. It will take 15-20 days to clear.
    If the cheque is in USD, then I don't know how many days takes to clear.

    Adsense payment procedure in India

    >> Check is delivered till 25th of every month if the total pending amount till the end of previous month is $100 or more.
    >> You deposit check
    >> Google Adsense check is of CitiBank payabale across India
    >> You deposited in HDFC. If citibank branch is there in your city, it will be done on second day.
    >> If city bank is not there, it will take EIGHT working days.

    >> USD > INR conversion will be counted as per the exchange rate of the day of clearing the check

    if the cheque is in your local currency, then it should take 2-3 days.
    if your cheque is in USD then it should take 37-45 days, depending on the bank.

    there are however vast differences between the charges by the banks.

    it varies between 4$ to 9$
    some banks even charge a currency conversion charge, sometimes about 3-5% of the total amount.

    Sir...i am in India..i have an adsense account.My problem is : i entered the payee name as "dinesh xavier" without initials but actually the name is T.S.dinesh xavier.In banks,the name will be as"T.S.Dinesh Xavier",but in adsense account it will be as"dinesh xavier".will it create any problems in receiving my payments?
