Its the new system that yahoo launched in February. Now the yahoo ads (in the usa, and next few weeks in UK and Europe) will be based on quality scoring. Similar to the system Adwords is using. Also Panama is using Campaigns and adgroups instead of categories till now! hope it helps
For the lucky ones in the US, you might already know, but for those in Europe or further in Australia, they should release the new Yahoo Search Marketing Platform in a few weeks. Basically it is a pure copy of Ad words except that Quality Scoring is called Quality Index (Original)... The good thing that Yahoo introduced is the account snapshot, with some graph on the web interface. However Google replied in 2 weeks with the exact same thing The new Yahoo interface introduce Geotargeting, ads creatives testing, campaign level budgeting and a lot of importing capabilities that will reduce the time to set up a campaign... Thanks god ! For those in the USA that already moved to the new interface, did the transition from the old platform to the new one go well ? Any suggestions to make the process smoother? Cheers
